Dr. Richard Nielsen would be perfect for another version of “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Without his vision, Provo wouldn’t have a medical school or Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. And thousands of children in Africa wouldn’t have library books, classrooms and clean water. Lucky for humanity, Richard doesn’t need much sleep. He’s alive, awake and changing the world.

Setting lofty goals, summiting mountains, and sometimes even just getting out of bed — it can feel overwhelming. But leaving the comfort zone also has the potential to be empowering and rewarding. Our minds taunt, “What if I fail?” But we challenge back by asking, “What if I succeed?”
